The second season of The Last of Us TV adaptation is due out by May 2025

Ever since the announcement of the second season of The Last of Us TV adaptation, we only knew that the sequel would be released in 2025. However, now we know when to expect the premiere.

Here's What We Know

HBO CEO Casey Bloys said that the second season would be released in the first half of 2025. He clarified that he expects the show to be broadcast during the Emmy window, i.e. before 31 May. Casey also added that people should like what the authors have done in the second season.

The first season was a real success for HBO and received 24 Emmy nominations, so fans' expectations for the second season are high.
