Astro Bot had a strong start to sales in the US market, second only to NBA 2K25

According to research company Circana, Astro Bot had a successful start in the US: the PlayStation 5 exclusive became the second best-selling game in the week after its release, behind only NBA 2K25, which was released simultaneously on PC and current and previous generation consoles.

Here's What We Know

Astro Bot took 2nd place in terms of physical and digital sales in the US for the week ending 7 September, right behind NBA 2K25. In addition, Astro Bot DualSense was the best-selling accessory of the week.

First week sales were 21% higher than the launch of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart in 2021. Astro Bot came in second place, behind only Space Marine 2, which is now the best-selling Warhammer game in the UK, ahead of Total War: Warhammer 3.
