A few days ago gaming media widely discussed the information of insider Dusk Golem, who confirmed that Capcom is developing remakes of Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica.

The updated versions of these games have long been dreamed of by gamers and now there is some encouraging information!

Dusk Golem mentioned that these projects will not be as ambitious as the Resident Evil 4 remake. This thesis upset many gamers, but it turned out that journalists and bloggers incorrectly interpreted the words of Dusk Golem.

Here's What We Know

On his page in X insider published an explanation, according to which less ambitious and large-scale remakes of Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica makes not that Capcom wants to save money on them or does not make the appropriate efforts, but only because the originally mentioned games are inferior in scope and epicness of Resident Evil 4. And since Capcom wants to keep the original look of the games as much as possible, the remakes won't be as ambitious and action-packed.

Dusk Golem believes that Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica will be full-fledged big-budget remakes with excellent graphics and the use of the most advanced technology, but their gameplay will be more old-fashioned than the modern audience would like.

Dusk Golem doesn't know when or on which platforms the remakes will be released, but is convinced they are in development.
