Just recently, Google unveiled its new Pixel 9 line of smartphones, which have just started selling. But progress does not stand still and the first information about the next generation of smartphones Pixel 10 and more is already appearing on the Internet. It is reported that the codenames for the future Google Pixel models have become known.

Here's What We Know

The Pixel 9a, which is expected to be announced at Google I/O in May 2025, has been codenamed "Tegu". The next generation, the Pixel 10, will have several models: the Pixel 10 (codenamed "Frankel"), Pixel 10 Pro ("Blazer"), Pixel 10 Pro XL ("Mustang"), and Pixel 10 Pro Fold ("Rango"). All Pixel 10 models except the Pixel 9a are scheduled for release in autumn 2025.

Google continues to build on its line of compact flagship phones that began with the Pixel 9 Pro, which received positive reviews for its combination of small size and high specs.

The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are expected to have similar specs, except for screen size and battery. The success of these models could determine the future of compact flagships from Google.
