We were developing a co-operative PVE shooter for 1-4 players called Project T in the Dead by Daylight universe. However, it was cancelled and we will never be able to play it again.

Here's What We Know

The game was in early development at Midwinter Entertainment, which was acquired by Behaviour Interactive in 2022.

In a statement, Behaviour said that the authors wanted to get players involved in the game as early as possible, which led to the creation of the Insiders Programme. This approach allowed them to get a very early check of the basic design and gameplay of the project, which often happens much later. After the playtest in July, the company conducted a thorough internal risk assessment from a product and commercial perspective.

Although many players expressed their gratitude for playing, unfortunately, the result of this in-depth analysis yielded unsatisfactory overall results and Project T had to be cancelled.

As a reminder, in September, The Casting of Frank Stone, an interactive film game that is a spin-off of Dead by Daylight, was released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
