Samsung is still not ready to give a beta test start date for the new One UI 7.0 firmware
Samsung was supposed to release the first beta of One UI 7 over a month ago, but the update has been continuously delayed since then and now seems to have been postponed indefinitely.
Here's What We Know
The beta was originally scheduled to launch in mid-July, but the timeline has been continually pushed back. In early August, the update was delayed due to the need for bug fixes and the delayed release of One UI 6.1.1 firmware. The latter was released in early September, but the One UI 7 release date is still unknown.
A moderator on the Samsung forum said that the beta date will be announced via Samsung Members as soon as it is decided. The official news is expected to come in the coming weeks, possibly at Samsung's developer conference on 3 October.
One UI 7, based on Android 15, promises significant changes including a revamped quick settings panel, new interactions with an interface element similar to Apple's Dynamic Island, and a new visual style.
