The Burya grenade launcher turret from the Ukrainian company Frontline and the TerMIT ground platform from Tencore have been successfully combined into a single combat system.

Here's What We Know

The new device will enable the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use the Mk-19 grenade launcher from a distance while remaining safe. The TerMIT platform can cover up to 20 km on a single charge, maintaining stable communication and ensuring manoeuvrability even in difficult conditions.

The Burya turret allows for 10 times more efficient firing and multiple targets, re-targeting in seconds at the operator's command.

The operator can control the system remotely using a remote control or laptop. To shoot, it is enough to specify a point on the map or enter coordinates. The built-in stabilisation system allows for targeted shooting in motion at a distance of up to 1800 metres.

"The automatic turret guidance system works very accurately, even better than the operator, especially when firing at multiple targets. A big plus is that the turret can remember the settings and quickly re-aim between targets, ensuring accurate hits within a radius of 20-30 metres," explained a military officer from the unit that tested the system.

For those who don't know

"The Burya is a grenade launcher turret that weighs up to 50 kg and can be manually deployed for a variety of missions. It is equipped with an automated guidance and firing system. Remote control, aiming and firing can be performed at a distance of 50-100 metres.
