Take-Two's annual report states that the total sales of the Grand Theft Auto series reached 420 million copies sold. The best-selling game was GTA V, which was purchased more than 195 million times.

And when GTA VI is released, it is scary to even imagine how many millions of copies will be sold and how much money it will bring to its authors.

Rockstar still plans to release GTA VI in autumn 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series.
