New details about Xiaomi 15 are online: 90W charging and new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4
Xiaomi is preparing to release the Xiaomi 15 series next month. Devices have already started appearing on certification sites, which confirms a possible release date.
Here's What We Know
The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro recently received radio certification in China, and now the standard model has appeared on 3C certification, revealing charging details.
Although the device is not explicitly named, the model number 24129PN74C matches the data from the IMEI database, confirming that it is a Xiaomi 15.
The maximum charging power will be 90W, the same as the Xiaomi 14. This will allow the device to charge from 0 to 100% in about 31 minutes. Information about wireless charging is not yet known, but it may be 50W.
The Xiaomi 15 is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, a 4800 or 4900 mAh battery, and a flat 1.5K screen protected by Dragon Crystal Glass. The rear panel will feature a triple camera with three 50-megapixel lenses.
The price of the Xiaomi 15 series may increase: the Vanilla model will start at 4599 yuan ($650) in China, compared to 3999 yuan for the Xiaomi 14, due to the increase in the cost of the chipset and materials.
