Huawei launches MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) worldwide with PaperMatte tandem OLED display and 100W charging

Huawei has unveiled the MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) at the global Innovative Product Launch event in Barcelona, following its previous release in China.

Technical Characteristics

The MatePad Pro 12.2 has a stylish and lightweight design, weighing just 508 grams and measuring 5.5mm thin. The 12.2-inch PaperMatte tandem OLED display with 2800 x 1840 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate delivers an impressive peak brightness of up to 2000 nits and a screen-to-body ratio of 92%. This guarantees vivid, realistic colours with an accuracy of ΔE < 1.

For maximum user comfort, the MatePad Pro 12.2 is available in configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

The main camera consists of a 13-megapixel lens and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, while the 8-megapixel front camera is designed for video calls and selfies.

The tablet is equipped with a dual-cell 5050 mAh battery (equivalent to 10100 mAh) and supports Huawei's 100W SuperCharge technology, which allows the device to be fully charged in just 55 minutes. For audio playback, MatePad Pro 12.2 is equipped with eight speakers that deliver clear sound in high and low frequencies.
