Netflix has confirmed that the next animated project in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe is in development, but did not disclose any details

We wrote that the Cyberpunk 2077 universe will get more animated projects. And now Netflix has made the first announcement in this regard.

Netflix has published a short teaser with the inscription "Return to Night-City" and the Cyberpunk logo at the end. So far, these are all the details, but we know that a new animated project in the cyberpunk universe is 100% in development.

We would like to remind you that in September 2022, the Cyberpunk anime series was released on Netflix: Edgerunners, which received 100% freshness from critics and 95% from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes. And fans would like to see a second season, but from the very beginning, only one season was planned, so it's not worth saying that they are working on a sequel to this anime. Perhaps the company has changed its vision, but we will find out later.
