Chinese certification has revealed the charging speed of Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+ flagships
Samsung is preparing to release its new flagship Galaxy S25 series only in January 2025, but various rumours and leaks about the specs of these smartphones have already started appearing. Recently, China's 3C Certificate revealed information about the charging speed of the Galaxy S25 and S25+ models.
Here's What We Know
According to the certification, the base model Galaxy S25 (SM-S9310) will support 25W charging, while the Galaxy S25+ (SM-S9360) will support 45W charging. These figures are similar to the previous models of the Galaxy S24 series. It was previously revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will also retain a 45W charging rate. It is important to note that neither of the models will come with a charging adapter included, just like their predecessors.
Earlier, battery capacities were also leaked, with the Galaxy S25 getting a 4,000 mAh battery, the S25+ a 4,900 mAh battery, and the S25 Ultra a 5,000 mAh battery. Thus, the main characteristics of the batteries and charging speeds remain unchanged compared to the previous models. The Galaxy S25 series is expected to be officially unveiled in early 2025.
