Samsung continues to support iPhone and iPad users and has released an update for the popular SmartThings app.

Here's What We Know

Despite the fact that the company uses Android for its smartphones, its iOS and iPadOS app remains one of the most popular among Apple owners. The latest update (version 1.7.19) brings a new feature for iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 devices - support for the Dark Mode icon.

When users turn on Dark Mode on their iPhone or iPad, the SmartThings icon changes to a black background with a blue logo. This also works with standard iOS tinted icons.

In addition to the design changes, Samsung has updated the remote control section of the app, making the buttons more modern and adding a shadow effect to them.

The dark mode feature is only available on devices running iOS 18 and iPadOS 18.
