Galaxy A54 gets security update in September 2024 in the US

Samsung continues to support its smartphones with security updates, and this time the Galaxy A54 has joined the list. In September 2024, owners of models blocked by the operator will receive a new security update in the US.

Here's What We Know

The update, which comes with firmware version A546USQS8CXH7, fixes 67 security vulnerabilities identified in the previous version. However, it does not include any new features or performance improvements.

The update is currently available on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile networks, and is expected to be rolled out to other carriers soon.

Galaxy A54 users can check for the update in the Settings menu, select Software Update and tap Download & Install.

For those who want to install the update manually, a new firmware file is available, but you should be careful and know the flashing process well. The Galaxy A54, which was released in early 2023 with Android 13, has already received an update to Android 14, and Android 15 (One UI 7.0) is expected later this year.
