Epson launches DS-800WN and DS-900WN EdgeLink document scanners for online file storage: prices from $999 to $1,299

Epson has announced the launch of two new fast business document scanners - the DS-800WN and DS-900WN EdgeLink. These devices enable efficient digitisation of documents at speeds of up to 70 double-sided pages per minute.

Here's What We Know

Both scanners allow you to save scanned files to online services, email, flash drives or network folders. The scanners come with Document Capture Pro software that converts documents into searchable PDFs.

The scanners also feature built-in ScanWay, which allows scanning without a computer, and integrate with document management systems to automate workflow. Both models have a 100-page automatic document feeder and support a wide range of paper sizes.

The DS-900WN has improved scanning speeds and a higher duty cycle of up to 11,000 sheets per day. Weighing in at 3.7kg and measuring 29.7 x 17.0 x 16.8cm, the scanners feature a touchscreen and a variety of connectivity interfaces including USB 3.2 and Ethernet.

These new products will be available through authorised CapturePro distributors for $999 for the DS-800WN and $1299 for the DS-900WN.
