The iPhone 16 Pro disassembly video shows all the features of the smartphone from the inside out
Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 family last week, and the devices went on sale worldwide yesterday, 20 September. Following an early unboxing video, the first iPhone 16 Pro unboxing has now emerged.
Here's What We Know
The disassembly reveals that the device's innards are accessed through the back panel, as is the case with most modern smartphones. The internal layout is significantly different from its predecessor: the motherboard is smaller and denser, which improves heat dissipation, but makes repairs more difficult. The camera is bigger thanks to a 12 MP periscopic telephoto lens.
The 3,582 mAh battery is 9.4 per cent larger than the iPhone 15 Pro and is encased in a steel shell for better heat dissipation. The internal frame is made of aluminium and graphite, which Apple says improves thermal performance by 5 times. The camera control button is not removable as it is laser welded. The charging port cable is now separate from the microphone, making repairs easier.
