Updated ranking of the world's strongest armies is presented: the US remains the leader, while Ukraine has dropped three positions
Military analytical portal Global Firepower has presented its annual ranking of the world's strongest armies.
Here's What We Know
To determine the ranking, experts take into account 60 parameters, including the number of manpower and reserve potential, production of equipment, the presence of the fleet and nuclear weapons, motivation of personnel, financing of the army and even climatic conditions and the presence of certain minerals.
Expectedly, the United States has the strongest army, followed by the terrorist state of Russia, China, India and South Korea rounding out the top five
Ukraine's armed forces in 2024 are ranked fourth among European countries, but in the overall list the country ranked 18th, while last year it was 15th.
Right behind the Ukrainian army are the armed forces of the Bundeswehr and Spain
The army of Poland ranks 21st, France - 11th, North Korea - 36th, and Denmark - 48th.
Last in the ranking (145) was the Bhutan Army.
