Meta Quest 3S can cost from $299.99

An alleged promotional video for OculusQuest Meta Quest 3S has appeared on Reddit, indicating the starting price of the new VR headset. According to the video, the price for the 128 GB version will be $299.99.

Meta is expected to present Quest 3S at the upcoming Connect 2024 event. Compared to the Quest 3, which starts at $499.99 for the same configuration, the new product may become much more affordable.

The advert also confirms earlier leaks about the design. The Quest 3S has two motion tracking cameras, two infrared illuminators, and two pass-through cameras. The new headset is likely to use the same controllers as the Quest 3.

In addition, Quest 3S will be powered by the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip. The headset will have LCD screens with a resolution of 1832 x 1920 pixels for each eye, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and three settings for correcting the distance between images.
