Insider: iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air will get 120Hz LTPO displays

Apple is finally planning to drastically improve the screens in the base iPhone models.

This was revealed by insider and head of Display Supply Chain Consultants Ross Young.

According to the leak, iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air will get the same LTPO-displays as the Pro-versions of the iPhone. That is, the new products will support ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Also devices should get Always-on function.

By the way, if you believe previous rumours, the supplier of screens for iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air will be BOE. The Chinese manufacturer has already sent samples of displays to Apple for testing.
