An insider has revealed new details about the upcoming Huawei Mate 70 flagships
According to recent reports, Huawei is planning to unveil its next Mate 70 flagship and Mate X6 foldable smartphone in November. A recent leak from Digital Chat Station has revealed new details about the upcoming Huawei Mate 70 series of smartphones.
Here's What We Know
According to the leak, the engineering prototype of the Mate 70 features a centred 3D facial recognition system on a screen that is rounded on all sides. Both variants, the Mate 70 and Mate 70 Pro, feature larger dimensions, a metal frame with flat edges and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
The back of the device will feature an elliptical camera island with a single periscopic lens. Unlike the previous Mate 60 series, which had a combined metal and glass back panel, the new series may have an all-glass back panel.
It is also reported that the new Mate 70 processor will be more power efficient, which could reduce the need for heat dissipation materials. The Mate 70 series is expected to launch with the new Harmony NEXT operating system in the fourth quarter, which will improve device performance by 30 per cent, triple connection speeds and reduce power consumption by 20 per cent.
