Matt Reeves has officially finished writing the script for the Batman sequel: filming will begin in 2025

Last week, we wrote that the script for the second part of Batman is almost ready. However, director Matt Reeves has now announced that it is fully written.

In an interview with EW, Batman director Matt Reeves confirmed that the script for Batman: Part 2 is ready. Now the team is preparing for the filming process that will start in 2025.

The film will take place "a certain period of time" after the end of the Penguin miniseries. And the thief himself becomes one of the entry points into the film," he adds.

"I can't tell you where it's going to go from here, except to say that we're very excited about it.

The second part of Batman with Pattinson will be released on 2 October 2026.
