Five hours of Silent Hill 2 Remake gameplay: a blogger has provided a unique look at the updated horror game
Silent Hill 2 Remake release is two weeks away and more and more information about the game is appearing online, both official and from various bloggers and streamers.
Recently a Japanese blogger showed an hour of gameplay of the updated version of the cult horror game, and now his Spanish-speaking colleague has published five hours of gameplay.
Here's What We Know
A streamer under the nickname MenosTrece hosted a broadcast of Silent Hill 2 Remake and judging by the comments and the fact that it hasn't been deleted, he did it with Konami's permission.
The contentmaker showed the opening scenes of the updated horror, the famous car park with a public toilet, where James Sunderland once again reads out a letter from his dead wife, in which she asks him to come to the town of Silent Hill, where they once happily spent their time. The audience will see corridors of apartment buildings, meeting Eddie, staged scenes, foggy streets of the town, fights with creepy monsters, as well as solving some puzzles.
From the shown footage it's clear that Bloober Team did a great job and in some episodes the horror looks more atmospheric than in the original. The remake has good graphics, high detailing, updated puzzles, improved combat system, excellent music accompaniment.
The full version of the 5-hour stream is available on Twitch, and MenosTrece has posted the first 40 minutes on his YouTube channel.
Warning: Beware of spoilers if you're not familiar with the plot of the original Silent Hill 2
