Motorola is expanding its range of foldable smartphones by announcing a new Razr 50s model. The device is scheduled for official release on 27 September, and can already be booked on Softbank.
Here's What We Know
Razr 50s will be available in three colours: Koala Grey, Sand Cream and Spritz Orange. Externally, the novelty resembles the previous model Razr 50, with similar bezels and display aspect ratio.
The model recently appeared in Geekbench, where it was indicated that the Razr 50s is equipped with a chipset with a base frequency of 2.00 GHz and architecture of cores 4 + 4, as well as 8 GB of RAM. The device scored 1,040 points in single-core tests and 3,003 points in multi-core tests. This shows that the performance of the Razr 50s is as good as the Razr 50. The smartphone will run on Android 14 and support HDR10+.
In comparison, the standard Razr 50 has a 6.9-inch foldable AMOLED display and a 3.6-inch outer screen. It runs on a Dimensity 7300X chipset with a similar base frequency and is available with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 2.2 storage.
