An insider has revealed new details about the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro smartphones

OnePlus is preparing not only for the launch of its flagship OnePlus 13, but also for the announcement of models like OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. Chinese insider Digital Chat Station has revealed some information about the upcoming new products of the Ace 5 series.

Here's What We Know

It is expected that the devices could be unveiled in December 2024 or early January 2025. According to Digital Chat Station, both smartphones will get 50-megapixel main cameras with Sony IMX9 sensors, as well as 50-megapixel telephoto lenses. Additional specifications of the cameras are yet to be revealed.

The devices are expected to feature BOE X2 OLED displays with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus Ace 5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Ace 5 Pro will get the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Both smartphones will be equipped with 6,000 mAh or even larger batteries. The devices will initially be released in China, but may later appear in international markets under other names.
