Ice-cold success: Penguin series watched by 5.3 million people in 4 days

Here's What We Know

According to HBO, the Batman spin-off series (2022) has been watched by 5.3 million people across all platforms since its debut on 19 September.

In addition, the show garnered the largest 4-day audience for a new series on HBO Max since The Last of Us in January 2023.

We remind you that Penguin is played by the unsurpassed Colin Farrell. The actor has already played the villain in Batman (2022).

The series begins immediately after the end of Batman and will show how Penguin expands his influence on Gotham and becomes an even greater criminal authority in the city.

Penguin will have 8 episodes. Lauren LeFranc is the writer and showrunner. Matt Reeves, the director of Batman, is the executive producer.
