The company that created Dead by Daylight has acquired the authors of the Darkest Dungeon series of games
The gaming industry has seen another studio acquisition. Behaviour Interactive, which is known for the Dead by Daylight game, has acquired Red Hook Studios, which created the Darkest Dungeon series that has sold almost seven million copies.

All 29 team members have been retained, and Red Hook will operate as an independent studio within Behaviour Interactive.
This year, the company set an ambitious goal to make Behaviour synonymous with horror. And the acquisition of Red Hook is another important step towards this goal," said Remy Racine, CEO and co-founder of Behaviour.
"This is Behaviour's fourth acquisition in two years, following the purchase of SockMonkey Studios, Codeglue, and Fly Studio. Last year, the company also founded a new UK studio with former employees of AntiMatter Games.
Last week, Behaviour Interactive announced that it was cancelling Project T, which was supposed to be a spin-off of the popular multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight.
