Wear OS 5 is now available for Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2

Google has announced the launch of Wear OS 5 on the original Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2.

In addition to the new version of the operating system, users will receive new features, including an app grid and the ability to use the Pixel Recorder function. The update also includes the September security patches that improve device security.

Users can expect to receive an OTA update notification, but it may not be available immediately. Wear OS 5 will bring new features that were previously only available for the Pixel Watch 3, including updates to Google Play apps and services, camera controls, and voice recorder support.

With this update, Wear OS 5 is also available on the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and all Pixel models. It remains to be seen when the new version will be available on other Samsung watches and brands.
