Samsung delays release of One UI 6 Watch update due to technical issues
Samsung continues to test the One UI 6 Watch update for its Wear OS smartwatches, but the release is not yet ready.
Here's What We Know
Moderators of the company's official forum noted that several bugs still need to be fixed, so the exact release date is still unknown. However, the stable version of One UI 6 Watch is expected to become available in October or November.
The employee apologised for the inconvenience and assured that Samsung is committed to releasing the most stable update possible. Once the bugs are fixed, the update will be available for the models:
- Galaxy Watch 4
- Galaxy Watch 4 Classic
- Galaxy Watch 5
- Galaxy Watch 5 Pro
- Galaxy Watch 6
- Galaxy Watch 6 Classic
It's also worth noting that the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra are the first smartwatches to run on Wear OS 5 with One UI Watch 6. This update includes AI-powered features, improved sleep tracking, new power settings, and enhanced exercise apps.
In addition, it offers new widget designs for various functions, including the alarm clock, battery level, calculator, and weather forecast.
