Apple CEO Tim Cook and The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon discuss iPhone 16 during a walk in New York City (video)
On a lighthearted stroll through New York City, The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon met with Apple CEO Tim Cook on Friday to discuss the new iPhone 16 and Cook's love of the iconic Fifth Avenue Apple Store. Fallon, dressed in Apple Vision Pro, took the new iPhone from Cook with feigned disbelief, which he personally handed over to him.
Here's What We Know
As they walked to the Apple store on the Upper East Side, Cook explained that he tries to visit Fifth Avenue in New York for every major launch. Fallon joked that fans treat Cook like a rock star. Cook modestly noted that this is because of people's love for Apple.
During the conversation, Cook, who has been working at Apple for 27 years, admitted that he never expected to become CEO. He shared his enthusiasm for Apple Intelligence, which is planned to be launched next month. New features will include automatic email summaries, as well as creative tools such as Genmoji and Image Playground.
The chat ended on a fun note when Fallon showed off his "psychic" abilities by guessing that Cook prefers mustard on his hot dogs. He then presented Cook with a New York-themed souvenir, although some of the items didn't quite fit Cook's style.
