Ukrainian military mounts 'robot dog' on heavy multicopter
Social media user X demonstrated how the Ukrainian military learned to carry a quadcopter drone on a heavy multicopter.
Here's What We Know
The video shows a heavy multicopter, visually similar to a domestic Vampire, with an unknown model quadcopter attached to it.
By the way, the Ukrainian Defence Forces use at least two models of "robotic dogs" - Unitree Go2 and BAD-2.
This decision can be explained by the fact that the Ukrainian military wants to develop means of rapid delivery of the latest and most promising reconnaissance equipment - quadcopters. For example, a multicopter can help deliver a "robot dog" to hard-to-reach areas, behind enemy lines and onto buildings.
It is worth noting that "robodogs" are used for reconnaissance because they have good cross-country ability, speed and are low-visibility.
