Immerse yourself in deep and eerie tunnels: Metro Awakening VR game to be released on 7 November
At the beginning of 2024, we were shown Metro Awakening, a single-player VR game not developed by 4A Games. Since then, there has been almost no news about the game, but at State of Play, they showed new gameplay and revealed the release date.
Here's What We Know
It is worth noting that the game is not the main one in the Metro series, as Awakening takes place in 2028. And it is not developed by the Ukrainian studio 4A Games but by the Dutch Vertigo Games, which is known for the Arizona Sunshine series.
Players will take on the role of Serdar, a doctor who defies the darkness, radiation, and deadly threats of the Moscow metro in search of his wife and the medicine she needs.
From the trailer, it becomes clear that we will see shootouts, stealth, encounters with mutants and horror elements.
When We Can Expect It
Metro Awakening will be released on 7 November 2024 and will be available on Steam VR, PS VR2, and Meta Quest 2 and 3.
