Pre-order for Metro Awakening VR game is open: the regular edition costs $40, and Deluxe with various bonuses will cost $45
We wrote that Metro Awakening VR game was shown off at State of Play and revealed its release date. Now we know the price of the game.
Here's What We Know
The regular edition costs $40 on Steam, PlayStation Store, and Meta Quest Store.
The deluxe edition will cost you $45. But after the release, it will cost $50. However, to buy it at a discount on PlayStation, you need an active PS Plus subscription.
What's included in the Deluxe? You'll get access to the game 48 hours earlier. In addition to this set, you'll also get the "Memories of Polyanka" pack with a backpack, mittens, Nosalis amulet, and The fallen patch.
And for pre-registration, you will receive a Field Medic set, which includes three cosmetic items: a backpack, gloves and a medic patch and a Bear amulet for weapons.
Finally, the Deluxe edition includes digital concept art.
We would like to remind you that the game is not the main one in the Metro series, as Awakening takes place in 2028. And it is not developed by the Ukrainian studio 4A Games, but by the Dutch Vertigo Games, which is known for the Arizona Sunshine series.
Players will take on the role of Serdar, a doctor who defies the darkness, radiation, and deadly threats of the Moscow metro in search of his wife and the medicine she needs. We are looking forward to shootouts, stealth, encounters with mutants and horror elements.
When We Can Expect It
Metro Awakening will be released on 7 November 2024 and will be available on Steam VR, PS VR2, and Meta Quest 2 and 3.
