Samsung will unveil a new line of Galaxy S25 smartphones early next year. The top model of the Galaxy S25 Ultra series, according to leaks, will get an updated design with a thinner body and narrower bezels. The device is expected to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and the S25 Ultra performance test in Geekbench showed what we can expect from this smartphone.
Here's What We Know
Performance test results of the SM-S938U, which is the US version of the S25 Ultra, have surfaced online. Geekbench showed a significant improvement in performance over the previous model. The result in the single-core test was 3069 points, and in the multi-core test - 9080 points. This result is due to the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, which includes 2 high-performance cores at 4.2 GHz and 6 energy efficient cores up to 2.9 GHz. This provides a 30% performance boost in benchmarks compared to its predecessor.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will also feature a minimum of 12GB RAM as in the test variant, and there will also be a 16GB RAM model for those who need extra power for multitasking. The device will run on Android 15 with One UI 7.1 and will support satellite connectivity.
