Casio releases new G-Shock G-Lide models with tide charts

Casio has introduced two new models of G-Shock G-Lide GLX-5600 watches, which are aimed at water sports enthusiasts and surfers.

The GLX-5600WHR24-2 and GLX-5600KB-1 share several features, such as tide charts, moon phase data and water resistance to 20 bars. The watches also come with a wide range of time zones, with 29 options available.

The GLX-5600WHR24-2 model was created in collaboration with Western Hydrodynamic Research and features a blue polymer case and bracelet. Another model, the GLX-5600KB-1, was developed in collaboration with professional surfer Kanoa Igarashi. It has a black bioresin case and a luminous case with Igarashi's signature.

Both watches are powered by the BR2025 battery, which provides up to seven years of battery life. The GLX-5600WHR24-2 is priced at £129 / €149, while the GLX-5600KB-1 is available for pre-order for Casio ID members for £139 / €159.
