Intel's upcoming Battlemage GPU has recently appeared on the Geekbench platform.

Here's What We Know

This GPU became the first representative of the new line and demonstrated the results: it scored 97,943 points in the OpenCL test. This allows it to compete with GeForce RTX 4060 and Intel Arc A770. Compared to AMD, Intel's is between the Radeon RX 7700 XT and RX 7600 XT.

The GPU has 160 computing units (20 Xe cores) and is equipped with 12 GB of video memory. The maximum clock speed reaches 2850 MHz. Testing was carried out together with the Intel Core i7-13700K on the Z970 motherboard, which confirms the power of the new product.

The appearance of Battlemage in the Linux kernel driver database indicates Intel's serious intention to enter the GPU market.

The new product is expected to be launched at CES 2025, where Intel is likely to present Arrow Lake laptop chips and other new products.
