Only the Xbox App will remain: Microsoft will close the Xbox Game Pass mobile app in November

Microsoft has announced a change that will make the Xbox ecosystem more convenient.

The American corporation will abandon the mobile application Xbox Game Pass in November. All its functionality will be transferred to the Xbox App, in which users will be able to view game catalogues, remotely install them on the console, add them to the library, share screenshots, communicate with friends and much more.

Essentially, not much will change for users, but instead of two apps - they will have one with all features intact.

The first to try out the updated app will be the participants of the Xbox beta programme, and soon after testing it will be available to all users.
