The Fitbit Android app has surpassed 100 million downloads in the Google Play Store. Launched on 16 March 2012, the app has become popular among people who want to keep track of their health and physical activity.

Here's What We Know

Fitbit is an application that helps you use Fitbit smartwatches and trackers. It is available for Android phones and tablets. Users of the new models, such as the 8 Pro, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro XL, can enjoy widgets and live wallpapers, as well as integration with the Pixel Thermometer.

The app also supports the Wear OS platform for the Pixel Watch, which allows you to conveniently receive all the necessary data. Fitbit recently completed an update to the interface to include new stats such as sleep, heart rate, and stress levels.

Users are eagerly awaiting the dark theme that was promised back in October 2023, but it has not yet appeared. Perhaps, Fitbit is waiting for the completion of the redesign of all app pages.

It is worth reminding that the Google Fit app has also exceeded 100 million downloads. In 2024, Fitbit announced new updates, including a change in the design of the settings and the integration of Health Connect.

In the future, it is expected to launch a new feature based on Fitbit Labs' artificial intelligence that will allow users to interact with data in a more convenient way.
