Garmin has released software update version 20.30 for its Forerunner 165 smartwatch. This is the first stable update since May, and it contains about sixteen improvements, new features, and bug fixes.

Here's What We Know

The Forerunner 165, which currently costs $249.99 on Amazon, has not received any updates, unlike other models in the Forerunner line. Garmin decided to move the watch to the new software version after a two-month beta test.

Among the key innovations are the ability to back up and restore device settings, as well as the Garmin Share feature, which allows you to share workouts and routes with other compatible devices. The update also includes improvements to pool training and the Run Coach feature.

In addition, a number of bugs have been fixed, including issues with weather display and incident detection. Users can manually initiate the download of the new software via the System menu.
