The Immortalis-G925 GPU from MediaTek Dimensity 9400 first showed its capabilities in the Geekbench test, where it received 16,257 points in the OpenCL benchmark.

Here's What We Know

This is 10% more than its predecessor Arm Immortalis-G720 MP12, which scored 14,679 points. Despite the performance increase, the results don't look amazing compared to competitors. For example, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4's Adreno 830 GPU provides a 40% performance boost.

The Immortalis-G925 MP12 has 12 processing units and a maximum clock speed of 1612 MHz, making it one of the most powerful GPUs for smartphones. During testing, it was used in the Vivo X200 smartphone with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

It is likely that the GPU can show better results in GFXBench. We will learn more about the Dimensity 9400 on 9 October, when it will be officially released.
