Batman first appeared in 1939 in issue 27 of Detective Comics and over the years has become a cult hero. The defender of Gotham has made such a great contribution to culture, especially in cinema, and for this he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Here's What We Know

On 26 September, the 2790th star dedicated to Batman appeared on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The most interesting thing is that this is the first superhero to receive this star.

Batman's success in the cinema was started by director Tim Burton and actor Michael Keaton, who opened the era of comic book films with their Batman in 1989.

Then, in 2005, we saw a new Batman in Christopher Nolan's Batman film: Begins, which ushered in a new era of comic book movies. The Dark Knight trilogy was generally recognised as one of the best of the early 21st century.

And Matt Reeves continued the trend with his reimagining of Batman in 2022, starring Robert Pattinson, and made good films about this superhero.

So this star for Batman is well deserved, because dozens of people have worked hard to make sure that we have exactly the images of the Dark Knight.
