A month has passed since the release of the game from Game Science studio and another impressive figure has been announced.

At Tokyo Game Show 2024, one of the key creators of PlayStation consoles Ken Kutaragi revealed that according to his data Black Myth: WuKong sales exceeded 20 million copies in the first month! This makes the action game the best-selling game of 2024, and it's worth noting that not only the high interest of the Chinese audience, but also the excellent quality of execution contributed to this.
There are no critical bugs in WuKong, the game works as it should, but the developers do not stop striving for perfection and have already released several patches.
Ken Kutaragi also mentioned that the total peak online Black Myth on PC and PlayStation 5 was three million players. As a reminder, this figure was over 2.4 million on Steam alone, which is a record among single-player games.
