Insider: HONOR will unveil new Magic7 and Magic7 Pro flagships earlier than planned
Insider information has surfaced that the HONOR Magic7 series of flagship smartphones will be unveiled earlier than expected.
Here's What We Know
According to a well-known insider Digital Chat Station, the devices will appear as early as October, which is 2-3 months earlier than planned. The series is expected to include two smartphones: the HONOR Magic7 and the HONOR Magic7 Pro.
Both devices are rumoured to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, which might be called Snapdragon 8 Elite. It is also reported that the smartphones will get a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H camera and a 50-megapixel periscopic telephoto camera.
Also, both smartphones will feature OLED displays and sub-screen fingerprint scanners and advanced facial recognition, but the HONOR Magic7 Pro will feature a more advanced display and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The early launch of the HONOR Magic7 will allow the company to compete with other manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Vivo, OPPO and OnePlus, who are also keen to release their flagship devices as close to the launch of the new Snapdragon chip as possible.
