Medieval strategy game Manor Lords has received a huge update and moved to Unreal Engine 5. Sales of the game exceeded 2.5 million copies
Publisher Hooded Horse and lone developer Grzegorz Styczeń have announced two important news about the city-building medieval strategy game Manor Lords, which has become one of the top hits of 2024.
Here's What We Know
Manor Lords developer Grzegorz Styczeń, also known under the nickname Slavic Magic, has released a major update. In patch 0.8.004, in addition to fixing a number of bugs, added ponds for fishing, the ability to create crossbows, meat farming and a system for storing provisions. Moreover, food will spoil at different rates and under different conditions, so you will have to take special care of food supplies and their storage.
It is important that Manor Lords is translated to Unreal Engine 5, which will allow the developer not only to improve the graphical performance, but also to significantly improve performance and optimisation quality, as well as to release patches faster.
In turn, the publisher Hooded Horse reported that sales of the strategy, which, remember, is in early access since April 2024, exceeded 2.5 million copies, and the company is extremely pleased with the popularity of Manor Lords.
The game is available on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and PC Game Pass, with plans to port it to the Xbox Series in the future.
Please note, there is currently a 30% discount on Manor Lords being offered on Steam.
