Vivo is gearing up to launch a new foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 4, which could be thinner and lighter than its competitor Honor Magic V3.

Here's What We Know

According to insider Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X Fold 4 will be "8.x mm" thick, making it thinner than the Honor Magic V3, which is 9.2 mm thick when folded. Furthermore, the Vivo X Fold 4 will weigh up to 220 grams, which is also lighter than the Honor Magic V3, which weighs 226 grams.

One of the key features of the new device will be the increased battery capacity. It is reported that the new Vivo X Fold 4 will have a capacity of 6,000 mAh. Despite the large battery, Vivo has managed to keep the device relatively compact in size and lightweight, also thanks to the fibreglass body.

In addition, the smartphone is rumoured to get a new flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, a triple 50MP main camera, IPX8 body protection rating and wireless charging. The Vivo X Fold 4 is expected to be released in April next year.
