Ubisoft is working hard to salvage its financial and reputational position, and one part of that plan will be the release of Star Wars Outlaws on Steam on 21 November.

Before then, Massive Entertainment Studios and several other Ubisoft divisions across all platforms will release several major patches to improve all elements of the game.

Here's What We Know

The developers have published a roadmap of upcoming updates.

They plan to release three major patches for Star Wars Outlaws until 21 November, the first of them will be released on 3 October. In it the developers will fix bugs and improve a number of game mechanics.

But the biggest will be the third update, it will be released on the 21st of November - the day of the game's appearance in Steam. It will improve the combat system, stealth mechanics, make general fixes, as well as add a few free additional tasks, which are called "Contracts".

On the same day will be released paid story add-on Wild Card, in which players will be able to carry out a daring heist with the iconic character of the Star Wars franchise Lando Calrissian.

As a reminder, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has tasked the developers with getting Star Wars Outlaws in good technical shape before the winter holidays, in the hope that this will boost the game's sales.
