Last week the release of the RPG GreedFall II: The Dying World from the French studio Spiders took place in Steam Early Access.

The public met the novelty with restrained reviews and pointed out a large number of flaws. The developers promised to fix the bugs and talked about plans for the next patch.

Here's What We Know

In the next major update, the authors of GreedFall II will focus on two main aspects - the combat system and the character editor.

French game designers plan to change the pace of battles, making them smoother and more realistic. The behaviour of characters during automatic attacks will be tweaked. The system of selecting targets in battle will also undergo changes, which will make it easier for players to use the skills and magic abilities of heroes.

Spiders will enrich the character editor with new features, and in the future it is planned to be completely redesigned. More customisation elements will appear in the game, such as additional hairstyles, paint shades, face shapes and more.

As GreedFall II: The Dying World has just started its journey in Early Access, there are still many patches ahead and it is quite possible that the release version of the game will be drastically different from the current one.
