Google is actively developing its new voice assistant Gemini, and now it has received integration with Google Calendar.

Here's What We Know

Gemini can now access, create, delete, or edit events.

The integration is available via the @Google Calendar command on both mobile devices and the web version of Gemini. Users can easily add an event title, description, location, and time. Although editing some details like description or location is limited for now, Google is working on further improvements.

The introduction of this integration makes Gemini competitive with other digital assistants such as Siri or Alexa.

Samsung is also not far behind, preparing a new AI-powered version of Bixby, which is scheduled to launch with One UI 7.0.
