Garmin has announced the launch of a new beta update for its flagship Fenix 8, Enduro 3, and Fenix E smartwatch series.

Here's What We Know

This update includes bug fixes that will significantly improve the user experience. The new software version, 11.84, is a follow-up to the previous beta versions 11.81 and 11.82, which introduced about forty changes.

The current update is not automatically downloaded for watches registered in the beta testing programme. Users need to manually check for updates via the watch menu, which involves a few simple steps. It is worth noting that all beta versions currently disable the dive and electrocardiogram (ECG) functions.

Key fixes include improved visuals for the power controls, a fix for a sleep timer sound issue, and improvements to the battery saving mode.

Garmin also noted that it has fixed a crash in the ClimbPro feature during active navigation and issues with the alarm volume control.
