Google is working on a new video search tool via Circle to Search

Google may soon introduce a new video search tool called Circle to Search.

Here's What We Know

According to APK parsing, this tool can combine different ways of searching for videos, allowing users to find any video on their devices faster. Although the feature has not been launched yet, it is likely that Circle to Search will work not only with YouTube clips, but with all videos, including those shot by users or embedded on websites.

Google currently offers several ways to search using video, such as through its AI Overview feature or the Gemini tool for video-specific queries. However, the new Circle to Search approach may become more universal and user-friendly.

The app's code mentions the term "omnient", which is a code name for Circle to Search, and a new icon relating to this tool has already been spotted.
