Samsung may release Galaxy Fold6 Special Edition at the end of October

Samsung plans to release a special version of its foldable Galaxy Fold smartphone at the end of October. The device is already available for pre-order from South Korean operator SK Telecom under the name Galaxy Fold6 Special Edition.

Earlier, a well-known insider Evan Blass claimed that the new product would be called simply Galaxy Fold Special Edition, without reference to the sixth model. However, new data suggests that Samsung has decided to position the device as a special version of the existing Galaxy Fold6, rather than a separate model.

The new foldable phone is expected to be available only in the South Korean domestic market and in China. According to preliminary data, the official release of the device is scheduled for 25 October, so there is not much time left before its debut.
